DX Design Hub, Sham Shui Po
A Transparent LED Showcase for DX Design Hub
Located within the Urban Renewal Authority’s redevelopment project on Tung Chau Street, DX design hub is a creative platform connecting design, culture and the community. A large P8 indoor transparent LED display has been integrated into the ground-floor glass façade, extending exhibition previews, event information and creative content beyond the venue and into the surrounding streetscape.
An Expansive 45 m² Digital Canvas
Covering approximately 45 square metres, the display’s tall vertical format creates a striking visual presence across the façade. Its prominent position makes venue updates more visible to passers-by while establishing a distinctive focal point at the entrance.
Preserving the Openness of the Architecture
Unlike a conventional solid LED display, transparent LED technology delivers vibrant digital content with minimal impact on natural light and sightlines. This allows the installation to blend naturally with the glass façade while maintaining the building’s open and welcoming character.
Flexible Content for an Evolving Programme
Content can be updated to support different exhibitions, events and promotional themes, enabling the venue to communicate timely information and featured highlights. By bringing motion and changing visuals to the façade, the display transforms a static architectural surface into a dynamic medium that reflects the creative identity of DX design hub and strengthens its connection with the public.
